What's interesting is Askland's wide variety of production styles. He has performed with the Seattle Opera and also with Nashville's Grand Ol Opry. He produces Christian recording artists and also hardcore punk, metal and rap hip-hop artists. "I like music that moves people, regardless of the sound", says Askland.

Since he started producing full time in 1989 he has produced thousands of audio projects and well over 200 albums. Clients include GTE and Freddy Fender of the Texas Tornados.
