Conrad Askland

Conrad Askland is a modern composer who works entirely freelance from his own audio development facility. "It took quite a while to get a name going", says Askland. "But it was worth all the years of paying my dues. Now I have clients from all over the world".

He started in music as a child prodigy performer with the Seattle Opera and Seattle Symphony at the age of 9. He started classical piano studies at age 10 and private college tutoring in composition at the age of 13. At 16 he entered Pacific Lutheran University to major in music composition.

Askland spent many years studying the great composer music styles, especially Bach, Mozart and Beethoven. Many of his original pieces and orchestrations pull from those great composer studies.
