Dance Music Producer

Conrad Askland produces all original dance music used for dance competition. "My dance music could be called Euro-Dance. Most people hear a definite European or 'movie score' type influence in it", says Askland.

He started off as a child prodigy performer in classical music and developed a love for Techno and New Wave music in the mid 80's. For his original dance music he uses a combination of live musicians, samples and midi sequencing.

Some of the companies he composes for are Cheer Trax and Rap Track. His audio development facility and recording studio where he produces new tracks is at Road Records.

"For years I was producing dance tracks and nobody wanted to hear them, all of a sudden my style is popular", says Askland. He has produced over 35 albums of commissioned dance music for commercial artists and audio companies.
