Things You Hear Backstage in Dracula
If you’re working on Dracula, here are some things you might hear backstage to remind you that yes indeed….. you are working on Dracula.
- “I really shouldn’t be running while wearing fangs”
- “Can’t see the blood from the balcony, add more Karo syrup”
- “Should the music be louder when the stake goes through the heart or during the beheading?”
- “Is she fully possessed yet, or just half-possessed?”
- “What? Only ONE person walked out before intermission? This needs to be more scary”
- “Great job everyone, two kids started crying - keep up the good work”

Conrad! I love your website!!!! I think I could learn something about musical theatre from it! I have it bookmarked now….. I am very proud to be working with you on the board of directors for the Theater Arts Guild. I love the comments heard backstage while working on the “Dracula” show…that has been a fun endeavor for me, helping with the makeup. It is an awesome show! See ya at the board meeting….Ellen
