WeHaveLupus.com is back online. This site is a free internet forum community for patients and family members diagnosed with Lupus Erythematosus. I started this website in November 2001 for a good friend of mine who’s daughter succumbed to Lupus in 1999. The site is moderated by “SaySuzie” who has been an incredible source of inspiration and support for me personally. I worked with her a lot in the studio and produced several soundtracks for her including a solo CD project.

What I like most about this site is how many people it has helped who are at their wit’s end. Lupus is an especially frustrating disease because patients often physically look healthy, and it can be very difficult for friends and family to understand why they are in such pain and experiencing fatigue. Lupus can go in remissions and come back at any time. Some patients may go dozens of years without recurring symptoms. It can hit at any time at any age, but my understanding is it typically surfaces in early adulthood.

Major kudos to Saysuzie for helping develop this community which is now helping so many people. And thank you Saysuzie for standing by me!
